With almost twice as many comments as upvotes I think that's what happened here. Getting behind the wheel of a car is a huge responsibility and should not be taken for granted.

Because I'm such a nerd, I paused the video to find clues to where this video was taken. The semi to the right reads "de Vreese". I did a search for the log go and it came up as a logistics company out of Belgium. It says they provide transport services throughout Europe. So I guess this is somewhere in Europe?

i noticed that, we have lots of european trucks on the roads here too but i don't recognise the name

That is a Ford Focus that crashed. Ford Focuses have steering wheels on the left side of the car cab, not the right.

That depends on the country it's manufactured for.

in the UK, we drive on the left.

There's way to many stupid drivers out there. That's why I bought a dash cam.

I viewed the you tube, the driver was seriously injured but survived. You do take your life in your hands anytime you get behind the wheel. A car can be likened to a loaded weapon. Handle with care and stay alert.

Theyre lucky both impacts were on the passenger side.

I've been in a serious wreck and am still dealing with the after effects.

My wreck earlier this year could have been much worse, luckily it was just rush hour. That sucks you're still dealing with it.

I didn't get hurt, just the car. But if traffic would have been in the fast lane I was slanted to have my drivers side be the new point of impact.

Wellll, I rolled three times and that did me some damage. The after effects are my new normal now. This was a few years back too mind you.

My daughter was in a rollover accident three years ago. She and her boyfriend were both thrown from the car. He died and we nearly lost her too. But she is back to her new normal, as you said, and doing great.

I'm so sorry. It was pretty grim there for me for awhile. But surviving such a thing makes you grateful in so many ways.

Sorry to hear that. Glad to hear your daughter made it and is doing great!

It took a long time for our daughter to recover. 4 months in hospital and nursing home. Then we moved her home, and then her friend since 3rd grade starting coming around to cheer her up. That resulted in this event this July. :-)

Wrong side of the road to be UK. Drivers side is always closest to the center line (opposing traffic).

i thought drivers in the states exited on the left for some reason :-/ he's a lucky lucky guy!!

To any potential Canadians...does this road look like one of yours? It doesn't look like the U.S. to me either though.

@ghost in regards to people stealing tanks. yea I know it's happened before. :( but in some countries overseas it's the other way around, and people don't expect to see tanks, and will accidentally drive into them, which is what that's a pic of.
