There are people on here who sound like they have a "Why is my meme not on the front page yet?" attitude, which doesn't make any sense to me. I'm almost always surprised when one of my memes get to the front page.

Yeah that's exactly right. The ones you're happiest with, nobody really looks at that much. And the ones you do in 30 seconds and think "ah well it's a submission anyway" get upvoted right away. At least that's what it feels like.

I have no idea what all these Gladiator references are about, I only watched the movie once and wasn't that impressed.

I thought it was OK, but not as good as everyone described.
