Ah, I hope you aren't right on this one but agree about the devious nature of this beast often roaming without consequence or care. I hope the cheating aspect that was so prevalent last election has been addressed enough and that is my worry. Yes, the RINOs are a problem but I am the eternal optimist so trust he will pull it off AGAIN and MAGA !

I am not making any important life choices before November. A bunch of my ex-military buddies and I all agreed that if and when the country does collapse, will wait three years and then pick a side. There doesn't seem to be anyone anywhere worthy of sacrifice so, we will sit it out.

America cannot withstand another 3 years so there is no 'if' and only a 'when', IMO. If we don't come together on this one, there will be no other chance or choice. The choice is clearly between Good or Evil & I hope most people can agree and we can move forward.

We agree on that, my comment wasn't as clear as I thought it would be. Many of my buddies feel certain that the country will erupt if the election is interrupted, stolen or contested. In the case of a violent uprising, we couldn't agree on how it could start, what the end goals would be (all sides would claim to restore the constitution, justice for all, save the Republic etc) in the end, we decided it didn't matter, we would follow the Afghan model. Stay out of any fighting not in our own neighborhood. Our thoughts went along this line-no matter who controls the national treasure, none of it got down to our level. Let the elite fight it out without us. We will be busy protecting our own, feeding and training everyone around us.

Our get togethers often fall into the what would you do if type discussions. What we all agreed on was not fighting with or for the woke military, not backing any Democrat leadership and never under any excuse backing the UN. We disagreed on a bunch of stuff-things like can any patriot really sit out an invasion, can you really trust any media. Basically, the more cold ones the more arguments, way less agreements.

The three years comment was based on a how long would a second American civil war last discussion (actually several, the subject comes up a lot). We figured any civil war would bring in UN troops and that would make the fight last a generation, someone would always attack UN troops, no matter how their arrival was justified. We decided at the three-year mark we could pick a winner or at lease go out punishing someone. A bunch of angry disgruntled combat vets would be a real wake up.

I know Biden is scared to death of ex-military, especially white ones but we are a mixed band of brothers and race never comes up, we are all one mindset, this country is in decline and the rot starts at the top. In one way or another it has let us all down and we will not defend it as it currently stands. Not our fight or problem. Granted a real election would change everything.

I think they just set him up. The so-called debate, just him and Biden, lots of room for accidents, yeah go with that. If the left removes both him and Biden at the same venue, Mr Mike Obama gets to join the race.

No one is proposing raising taxes though - Republicans purposely wrote a sunset into their 2017 Tax Scam bill, so the cuts for all but corporations and the top percent of taxpayers have already been phasing out for 3 years.

Why would they do that? Because those cuts were always going to add trillions to the debt, and so they gave you a taste to go along with giving away the farm to their donors.

I notice that you didn't even consider the cost to families, or that Dems have had 4 years to address this. I guess they are waiting to see if Republicans win so they can blame the increases on them. Spin this how you like but you can't change the truth, Americans thrived under Trump.

We told you the Republicans were doing this seven years ago and that the sunset was built in, but you guys credulously went along with it, and even if the GOP takes everything in a sweep this year, more cuts will only make the crash harder.

Heroin addicts thrive after taking a hit of their favorite drug and refuse to listen to those who point out they're going to crash from that choice. They too attempt to blame everyone else while demanding another hit will fix the problem.

The crash is because of spending bills. Get that under control and the economy will recover (assuming the fed reserve does the right thing, which it won't)

The crash is because the Republicans took a country without a budget and already spending a trillion and a half per year in deficit and cut tax rates for the largest payers, but calling it revenue-neutral because American corporations pre-paid taxes on overseas dollars that wouldn't be due until those funds were repatriated.

In practice this means trillion dollar companies like Apple got a one-time deep discount and will never pay federal taxes again.

We could cut all discretionary spending and still not begin to address the deficit, much less the debt.
