Aye, and some people are in such UNTREATED chronic pain that they would take it. We talk of the Opioid crisis. But really it's a chronic pain crisis; and I'm NOT talking of the nagging physical aches that everyone deals with from time to time as they hit old age. I'm talking about real pain that never really goes away.

Getting addicted to opioids is a piffling concern when dealing with true pain that never goes away; because that is rightly called unending physical torture.
