And then he got shot to death by V.P. Aaron Burr in a duel.

If you are not willing to die for what you believe in .. then you really don't believe in anything.

Dying is easy man, living is harder

Broadway quotes aside, you do have to admit it’s kind of ironic. Don’t get me wrong, I support the second amendment, but I think the irony of the situation kind of highlights how said amendment can go south without regulations

Cowardice and lethargy regarding moral principles is a cancer with in current society. People claim to believe in this or that then the next day its the opposite. The time of our founding fathers .. people had more courage to stand by what they believed. If you put a gun to their head.. they would still stand for their belief.. I wonder how many people todday would still stand by their values if a gun was to their head.

While that’s definitely something we can agree on, it isn’t exactly what I meant by the quote.

What I meant was, it’s easy to say you’d be willing to die for a cause, because risking everything might as well be risking nothing, since if you lose your life, then all other consequences don’t really matter to you, because, you know, you’re dead. Sure you may become a martyr, but in some cases, that can be the coward’s way out. I say if someone puts a gun to your head solely on what you believe in, you stick to your beliefs and also try to fight back. Then, at least, if you get shot, you went down fighting for what you believe in

people crumble under a fraction of that kind of opposition today, a gu to the head is an extreme example.. but think about it. People are cowed into submission by insults/labels or online bullying. People just don't have the back bone they used to, personally I tihnk it has been bleed out fo us from war ( the brave dying, like what happened in France in ww1) , comfortable living , and pharmaceuticals.

Pharmaceuticals? I hate big pharma as much as the next guy, but what do they have to do with this?

Interesting. But isn’t that an issue of water companies?

Exactly- infact I would not be surprised if they knew about fluoride way back in the 60s and knew that in time the population would be easy to control from the chemicals. Like chemicals it effects the whole similarly, but there are groups that it will effect more and some much less. I was just watching a show about how the government was experimenting on the population right here in chicago by releasing bacteria into the subways. Its a deep dark rabbit hole, I really don't like thinking about it too much.. because there is nothing we can do about it.

Heck, some cities advertise fluoride in the water plainly. They say it’s good for the teeth. Now, while fluoride is actually good for teeth (not so much the brain), I think it actually shows their motive. You can be a smart as Einstein, but without a good smile, not many will listen to you. I think that this is what lobbyists are using to prevent anything being done on the issue. I know it’s circumstantial and speculative at best, but just a thought I had

EPA is in charge of regulating the water and sanitation of it. Then you have American water works.. So it fits perfectly if you think about it, Big Pharma + government + water = chemically altered water that effects the human brain. Its really scary if you think about it.

I suppose you have a point. Still, back to the original topic, I think that’s an issue of intelligence and not willingness to stick to one’s beliefs. Don’t get me wrong, it sounds like an issue, just different from what we were initially discussing

The unwillingness to fight is linked to fluoride , it dulls the urge to fight. Not only does it lower IQ but it also lowers aggressiveness, which you need to stand up for beliefs against opposition.

I mean, assertiveness can also be used, not just aggression. But yeah, wouldn’t be surprised if it lowered both

Well they have more money than God.. so they probably have a ton of pull in politics.

Not only that, try researching what Fluoride does to the human brain during development.

... Hamilton was the one that wanted to create a monarchy in America. He sure knew a lot about a free society 😂

You are very uneducated. He wanted a stable government - one that would be for the people and of the people. Yes he wanted the president to be a life long position, still a free society. But giggle some more at your own comment.
