Actually no. I got it before it was required, because i though if i contributed to the numbers the nonsense would end sooner. I thought it would be ineffective (which it was) but harmless (which we now know it isn't). Once it was required though, my friend ended up in the hospital. She was known to be allergic to vaccines, but that wasn't good enough to grant her an exception, and she couldn't afford to lose her job of over 20 years, so she took the risk.
