This is what you get when liberals want to shorten prison sentences

Quite right, it is hypocritical how the left are always for being way too lenient on criminals but are quick to punish criminals motivated by right-wing political reasons even if it's without due process. Their lenient sentencing would in fact apply to all criminals including Qanon rioters.

I think we should punish people equally left, right or centre. Imagine if Lidia Thorpe an Australian Far-Left politician got locked up, then got released for being Far-Left

They let him outta jail seven seconds after fox news revealed the government prosecutors possessed video footage exonerating him. In other words, this is just an attempt to avoid the inevitable lawsuits that will result from prosecuting people while possessing video evidence that contradicts the charges...
