There are some Giant/Martin's foodstores around here with big holes on the shelves, and Costcos with purchase limits - but walk into an Asian or international grocery store and the shelves are overflowing with produce and products. They have more variety, and they're cheaper, too.

Mostly because there should not have been a shut down from covid for more than a week or two. After that we knew the numbers and knew that only old people and the sick were dying from it. We should have then isolated the vulnerable and opened back up. We still have places that are slowed down because they are observing 'covid guidelines'. All of that needs to stop. The best way to become immune to covid is to get it and take vitamins and antivirals.
Then there's all the money we are sending to Ukraine, which we shouldn't be doing. The embargo on Russia isn't doing jack. OPEC is buying their oil and selling it to us at a premium. So we are essentially buying Russian oil for more than we'd pay Russia for it. This has caused the price of gas to go way up affecting the supply chain.
Biden stopping drilling on federal lands and the shelf has caused the price of gas to skyrocket further.
