In case you didn’t know, pot of avarice shuffles 5 cards into your deck from the gy and has you draw 2

avarice is sort of a -3, losing GY resourses, also you make your deck bigger, wich reduces your posibilities of getting cards you need in your handa, and also, if you have 5 cards in the GY you are in turn 3000 or you have already combo'd off.

Depends on the deck. Not all decks rely on gy.
