Here's the thing with UBI. Stimulus checks are basically that, and since you're printing more money, you're racking up the national debt. And if UBI isn't taxed, Where is the government gonna get it's cash from? You need money to make money, so you skyrocket the taxes on people, and only give a shred of it back to the people. In the video, It says Canadians work less due to this. While their healthcare is free, you gotta wait a lot of time to get yourself attended. Think of the housing system during the soviet era. You want to buy a house, but all properties are controlled by the government. So slowly, and when you get the house, it's gonna be rundown, shitty, and broken. then you gotta worry about the inflation rate. Look at Pre-Nazi Germany. So they taxed the people, and printed more money, because they were so busy paying reparations, and their currency (German Deutsche Mark) Inflated in record numbers. So good luck pushing for this.
