The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution (Written long after Independence Day )reads: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." - Every Tom Dick and Harry owning/using guns does not constitute 'a well regulated Militia'

exactly, an Army/Military Force/Physically fit civilians - not any undisciplined, unregulated, mentally competent rabble. I have no problem with the bearing of arms etc, so long as there are checks and balances to ensure 'cracker barrels' are not running round 'settling scores' or shooting up schools. The founding fathers did not have the benefit of a 'modern' definition of militia. They certainly could not have envisioned Semi/Fully Automatic weapons.

A search of the internet has turned up that obsolete is defined as no longer in use. Also turned up that the F22 is cost prohibitive for restarting production at this time because there is not a need for it yet since it is technologically superior to anything else in the sky, even the F35. To verify that, just research how may F35's have been exported to foreign countries in comparison to how may F22's are owned by foreign countries. And to make it easy on you, here are the links:

That's one of the oldest and easiest argument to combat. Let's just ignore the fact that a militia includes anyone who comes together to form an armed populace. It isn't difficult to realize that the founding fathers wanted an armed populace.
