Here's what you do...First, go to the memes on the front page and make as many funny meme comments as you can...both to the memes and to any memes in the comment stream that you want to reply to...the funnier you are the more people will upvote your comments and begin to notice your memes...EVERYONE looks at the front page memes so you want to make your presence known in those memes for sure...also go to the "latest" pages and do the same, if noone goes to the latest pages and looks at those memes then most newer user memes don't get seen
That's the first step for new users...You just got to make yourself known...if your memes are truly funny, you will get the upvotes...go to the profile's of some of the top ten users and look at their memes. See what has worked for them and get an idea or two...For me, most of my best ideas come from commenting and interacting with other users...this meme right here is a comment I made to another user's meme and I decided that I thought it was funny enough to submit, so I did...that's how it works.
Be respectful to other users and they will usually do the same in return...most importantly, have fun and be creative with your memes and comments... Just remember, the more funny meme comments you make, the more people will start to remember you and check out your stuff. Hope this helps a little.
