You can see it a little, but they had several other structures also all around the store. In the bottom pic you can partially see the suspended helicopter and (in the first) a Lego man repelling from it - tho the scale of those two is definitely off. You can also see part of the Earth globe, next to a book case (complete with books and nicknacks) and a few other renaissance Lego men.

Also there was a dragon, a caveman attacking a giant saber cat with a spear, a medieval scene with a huge minotaur and a few others. I hadn't been there in several years and was insane how people built all this shit!

The store itself isn't all that big and everything in there is....well a LOT more than I'd pay for Lego but they have tons of cool stuff there and displays.

It's not so much horizontally big as it is vertically. It's more for the experience than the shopping for sure lol. You can walk all around the site 360 degrees across 3 levels with the 4th being closed with the movie theater.

I was on an assignment in Plymouth MN in 2000. When we got there, I stayed at one of the motels across from the mall. I went there a few times. I don't think it will meet the same fate many malls have.

They've recently added a bunch onto it including hotel(s) and there's plans for more.

It's more than just a shopping center: it's a tourist attraction. I'm sure it's changed since I was there.

I went there when it first opened in 1992 or so. The 4th floor had a lot of attractions then. Cinema, sports bar, comedy club, piano bar, even a bowling alley. Not so much now, I hear. Haven't been there in a few years.
