You said "of course not," then why hold someone else to standards that you don't follow?

I think People have had enough corruption and are tired of career politicians... while the Dems are throwing dirt at him , they have yet to have Hillary show any plan to bring us out of the spiral we are facing and challenges to National Security.

Correct... We don't want corruption on either side of the aisle... We lose November 9 thanks to Trump -- whether he wins or loses.

I'm a bit more optimistic, and i'm willing to give Trump the first 4 years to see what happens, at least I know he will remove some Terrible Executive Orders Obama has issued and attempt to secure the borders and our nation. He sure as hell isn't doing this for the Salary a President makes !

Not sure how you "know" that. His history says otherwise. We only have his word that this is what he will do. I don't care about 11 years ago. His behavior and lies this entire campaign has rendered him unfit for the office.

Regardless, it's pretty clear he's going to lose, so per the OP, there is no hats off to him for anything.

He said it in front of thousands of people , cameras rolling. Actually , I think he is going to win and blow Hillary out of the water. What lies are you referring to ? I like his behavior because HE IS NOT a Polished politician , and he is all business .

Our Govt. is a business , it needs to be run properly. Obama was a "community organizer" not a businessman and we see how that has turned out !
5 ups, 8y
Business would LOVE it as the rest of us get to repeat the tycoon era of pre-Roosevelt America. I have zero faith in the charity or warm-hearted concerns of corporations. It's all about profit any way they can get it, legal or otherwise.

We don't need that right now or ever. Trump will find ways of bringing it all back so the almighty dollar talks and nothing else.

Only since you came back did ignorance raise it's very ugly head. You seem to confuse "people thinking for themselves" as being "sheeple" when in reality, the Trumpanzees are the mindless sycophant drones who put us in this position.

Really, why do you think Hillary is ahead then? I don't watch Fox News. They're just as bad as CNN. They're all owned by the same establishment which is something you seem unable to comprehend.

They must own Nickelodeon too, because it reeks of corruption.

And you, like a typical 'Rump rump, (and liberals interestingly enough) have no argument but insults and denials.

Here's why I think Hillary will win...

Liberals will support her. Even a good portion of those who object to her (that would normally vote Democrat) will still support her to prevent the GOP taking the White House, especially 'Rump.

As for 'Rump, he has his loud and obnoxious Trumpanzees (like yourself) who support him and don't even acknowledge his many faults. Some of the others (who normally vote GOP) will hold their nose and vote for him.

But common sense conservatives, those of us who love this country and the Constitution won't vote for either of them.

As split as we are, common sense says this vote will be close, but 'Rump will lose far more votes to third party than will Hillary.

But as a mature (look it up) person, I know I could be wrong. But that's my analysis and prediction.

Nice condescending attitude. Very "christian" of you! Your hypocrisy knows no bounds huh? Referring to Trump supporters as "Trumpanzees", and calling me a liberal as an intended insult. Lol

I have no argument? That's you projecting. Your stance is that Ted Cruz is the only candidate who could've beaten Hillary. Have any facts to back that up? Meanwhile I'm telling you that Trump has registered the most Republicans in history (a fact) and you have nothing to say. You try to twist the narrative just like a liberal.

Whatever amount of "conservatives" like yourself (aka nutjobs) don't support Trump, he has more than made up for with independent voters and democrats who left their party to support Trump. It's funny how little you know.

LOL... you bought the lie that dems were registering GOP to SUPPORT 'Rump!

That lie was obvious in the primaries that they were stacking the deck to get 'Rump because they knew (like any thinking person) that Hillary could beat him.
5 ups, 8y
No, Democrats are leaving their party to actually support Trump. Many of them are mad from being betrayed by Bernie, or won't support Hillary's corruption.

LOL, why do Hillary's MANY faults get a pass? Hers are in deeds, Trumps were in words. Hillary's deeds occurred even while she new she would be running for the presidency, which to me shows an EXTREME lack of judgement. I don't think either one are qualified before you attempt to label me. The biggest difference I see is that one candidate didn't have to send their spouse onto a plane for an attempted secret meeting to keep from getting criminally charged so close to an election.
[deleted]

I don't give Hillary's many faults a pass at all. She's horrible and evil (too). Trump's problem is not just words, but his behavior during this whole campaign. His incessant lies, flip flops, boasts, abusive scorched earth treatment of people.

They are both unfit to be president and we're doomed to have one of them.

GOP fielded 18 candidates I believe. And this one shone the light on all the ugly parts. But I don't think they are done digging themselves deeper just yet.

It was 17 and unfortunately the sane 70% of GOP voters were spread across the other 16 watering it down and making it appear Trump had a mandate and a groundswell of support. Plus he had the crossover vote from democrats who wanted this matchup, knowing, like the rest of us that he'd lose to Hillary. He claimed it was democrats supporting him, but that was more of his lies.

So now we're stuck.

I didn't know about that. Just shows how long the media has been lying. And most of the big media websites didn't even do an online poll after the third debate because Trump destroyed her in the previous ones.

Trump is NOTHING like Reagan. Reagan was maligned unjustly and a great conservative leader. 'Rump has very real issues that prevent conservatives from supporting him.

But we'll see.

I'm not saying he is. And obviously there is an error in that meme. Would you agree that the media is completely in the bag for Hillary and that it's very difficult to know what the truth is in the polls? With all of the manipulations going on, I wouldn't put it past the polls/media to try and discourage Trump supporters from showing up on Election Day.

Or reality in general.

Maybe you should quit ASSuming you know what people base their comments on. You're listening to too much FoxNews.

Yes, the news was easier to manipulate in the early 1980s... but this "polls were wrong" nonsense is the same line fed to us in 2008, 2012, etc...

I'm basing my assessment on years of political watching. I freely admit I could be wrong and 'Rump could win. But America still loses with either of these two.

Some minutes ago I watched some summaries of the last debate. His argumentations - well, ok, fine. But was his statement concerning the acceptance of the outcome of the elections in november really so outrageous? For me as a guy from Europe is it sometimes hard to understand your emotions and feelings about comments of your politicians.

So ... if anyone could explain me this matter, that would be great
[deleted]
4 ups, 8y
I'll explain it this way... people look for things to get upset about when they don't have a legitimate argument.
5 ups, 8y,

I do not fully agree. If a politician here (eu country) would say this also he/she would be burned to the ground. Publicly doubting an honest election process is undermining the democratic values. For god sake, we and USA are not Burundi or North Korea. Saying this makes you a poor loser upfront. On the other hand, this statement fits a person who does not take No for an answer. He's not used to this and therefore not suited for this position. Governments are not a one men lead corporation.

Wow. Do you believe everything the media tells you? Why would he accept it when there is video evidence of voter fraud and corruption from high level DNC agents taking orders from Hillary? Have you even seen the videos?

During the Primaries, ALL the Republican candidates, including Trump, promised to accept and endorse the eventual chosen candidate. But many of them lied and refused to endorse Trump. So why would he fall for that same crap again? That question was never asked during a Presidential Debate before. They knew he would alienate his base if he agreed to this. So he chose to stick with the people who support him.
[deleted]
5 ups, 8y,

This is incorrect. The promise was the SUPPORT the nominee. The pledge was never about endorsing them. Ted Cruz, the one honorable one in the GOP field, maintained his integrity at the GOP convention but went short of endorsing Trump. He screwed up later and did endorse him (sad day), but the agreement was not to run third party and not campaign against the nominee.

Only Trump started crying about "endorsement" and the sycophants ran with it.
