Heart, 30 Seconds to Mars, The Stooges, Rob Zombie, Pitbull, Public Enemy, Five Finger Death Punch, Avril Lavinge, Butthole Surfers, Eminem, Britney Spears, Cake, The Rolling Stones, Halestorm, Don Omar, Adele, Far East Movement, Godsmack, Beastie Boys, Ylvis, Lily Allen, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Iron Maiden, Green Day, Teamheadkick, Metallica, Korn & Avenged Sevenfold...and these are just the ones I think people would know. If I threw in the lesser known stuff people would think I had multiple personalities!

Wow yeah, that's pretty diverse! I like the old stuff from the 60's except never been a Beatle fan. Throw in some 70's Electric Light Orchestra and Neil Diamond, and then some of the mainstream Gothic, Evanescence, Within Temptation, etc...Almost as diverse as you!

Oh, Evanescence is there too! One of my top 5 bands of all time. IMO, Amy Lee has the best voice in all of rock. Not a huge fan of ELO, but Mr. Blue Sky is an all time fav! I've also got a ton of scores from TV and movies.

Cool. They were big in the early 2000s. Look up their albums Art of Drowning and Sing the Sorrow. You'll probably enjoy them since you like Evanescence.

I didn't like ELO for the longest time, but they grew on me.

Isn't that the way it always is nowadays? ;) I'm old skool at work by using CDs; mostly doom metal today - Pallbearer, The Flight of Sleipner, and Bell Witch on the player right now. If you're good with just instrumental I'd highly recommend Earthless. They have the best guitarist on the planet right now, Isiah Mitchell. If you can find a download of their "Live at Roadburn" I say try it.

this is done straight from your GIF. You could do it straight from video but you'd need some decent software.

for short things like these, i'd turn the video into an animated GIF first. Once you have a GIF (either from making your own from a video or from borrowing someone else's....like i just did with yours) you need to "split" the GIF to get access to the individual frames....i use ezgif.com for this. Then you have to add the arrow/s to each individual frame

this one was a bit tricky cos it's very difficult to see his hands. the tammyfaye one i done before (where she's in the gym) was a lot easier and quicker. just depends what's going on in your images

an animated GIF is just a stack of images in one file.

to get access to individual frames, you need to "split" the GIF file.

I use ezgif.com to do this, just upload the url of the GIF and "split" it.

download the files (there were 47 in this one)

and edit each one individually...!!! it can take some time :p

same process if you want to do your own from scratch, just find a video...turn it onto a GIF and upload tit to the "split" section of ezgif, and download the individual files

If you're stuck on any of this, just lemmee know :)

...also, when editing you need to be aware of the repeat/cycle in the GIF to get it looking right.

i had to start editing these from frame 11 because that's the first frame where the guys hand is at the bottom (where the arrows appear) and this is where the repeat/cycle begins

I was saying to Tammyfaye above, just be careful where you start editing. you'd think that frame 1 would be the natural staring point, but you need to look for repeats/cycles in the animation to find where to start. In that one above i started editing at frame 11 because this is where the dudes arm is at the lowest point, and where the arrow first appears

Overhang Party (Japanese heavy psych), Bong (stoner drone), Antaeus (vicious black metal), and as of right now, Sissy Spacek (not the actress - usually a grindcore band - but for this album a 15 piece free jazz outfit). Smashing my head into the wall usually means Pig Destroyer. Don't have that today.

Today Neil Diamond, Bread, Temptations, Grease and MamaMia soundtracks....tomorrow, eh maybe some goth!

I forgot the Pig Destroyer for today. Mostly doom metal. I'll have to bang my head more slowly. ;P
